Cloud tools are great for collaboration—but expensive storage, long uploads, and limited access hold creatives back. Strada Agents let you skip the cloud and be your own server: share files directly from your drives without uploading. Here’s how to set it up.

1) Create Your Account

  1. Go to Strada.tech and click Download Strada Today.

  2. Sign up with Google, or use the Sign Up button if you don’t have a Google email.

  3. Confirm your account and download the Strada Agent for macOS (Apple Silicon) or Windows (NVIDIA/ATI GPU).

2) Install the Agent

  1. Open the downloaded package and drag the Agent to Applications (Mac) or run the installer (Windows).

  2. On Mac, find the Agent in your Menu Bar; on laptops, it may be hidden behind the camera notch—drag it into view.

  3. Click the Strada icon → Login. A browser window opens to authenticate.

  4. Once connected, you’ll see your local directories. Use checkboxes to select folders or external drives you want available remotely.

3) Access Your Personal Cloud

  1. On any computer, open Chrome → go to Strada.tech → Login.

  2. You’ll see your Agent listed with all shared folders and drives.

  3. Browse, preview, and play video/audio clips instantly in the Strada Player—no upload required.

4) Invite Collaborators

  1. Navigate to a drive or folder you want to share.

  2. Click the + button in the media pool.

  3. Enter collaborator emails → Invite.

  4. They’ll get an email, sign up free, and see your shared drives under Shared With Me.

  5. Collaborators can browse, playback, and download directly from your drive.

5) Next Steps

You’ve just turned your computer into a remote-access cloud server with no storage fees. Strada makes remote access as fast as local access—and we’re adding new features all the time.
