4. Peer-to-Peer Downloading in Strada

Strada lets you skip cloud transfer services by moving files directly from one computer to another—fast, secure, and with no uploads.

1) Download a Single File

  • Open a file in the Player.

  • Click the Download icon (top right).

  • Watch progress in the download bar at the bottom.

2) Download Multiple Files

  • Select a folder or multiple clips in the browser.

  • Transfers queue automatically.

  • Track status/history in the Jobs Panel (top right).
    ​

3) Why Peer-to-Peer is Better

  • Self-service: Users download files themselves—no need to bother teammates.

  • No uploads: Skip time and cost of cloud transfer services.

  • Preview first: Watch assets before deciding to download.

  • Prioritize: Choose which files transfer first in urgent situations.
