5. Compatible Volumes

Strada Agents can share almost any volume you can mount in macOS, so you can access lots of media remotely—without uploads.

1) External USB-C / Thunderbolt Drives & RAIDs

  • Plug in your drive/RAID (e.g., 132TB OWC, 8TB SanDisk).

  • In the Agent, select the volume and enable sharing (checkbox).

  • The entire volume becomes remotely accessible.

2) Removable Camera Media

  • Insert an SD card (e.g., Sony FX3) or a RED Mag; it appears in the Agent.

  • Enable sharing to browse the card’s originals.

  • Note: Strada doesn’t debayer RAW. If your camera recorded ProRes proxies, you can play those remotely.

3) Mounted Cloud File Systems (Advanced)

  • Mount services that appear in Finder (e.g., LucidLink, Avid NEXIS)—compatibility may vary.

  • Add the mounted volume in the Agent to share it.

  • On another computer, you’ll see those directories and can access the whole volume remotely.

4) Verify & Share with Teammates

  • From any computer: log in to Strada → Shared with Me → browse/play.

  • Use the + button at the drive or folder level to invite collaborators with precise access.

5) Need Help?

  • Try different drive types and keep the Agent running in the background.

  • Join weekly live sessions or our Discord (via the Strada website) for support.
