7. Shortcuts

Strada is built for speed. Use these shortcuts to move through media faster and make your sessions more efficient.

1) Play & Pause

  • Automatic Play: Click a new file while one is already playing—it starts instantly.

  • Spacebar: Start or stop playback.

  • Click on video: Play/pause.
    K key: Another quick play/pause option.

2) Switch Between Clips

  • Hold Command + Right Arrow to move to the next clip without clicking.
    ​

3) Fast Playback Speeds

  • Press L once → 2x speed.

  • Press again → 4x.

  • Press again → 8x.

  • Press again → back to normal speed.
    ​

4) Frame-by-Frame

  • While paused, use Right Arrow (next frame) or Left Arrow (previous frame).
    ​

5) Full-Screen Mode

  • Press F to toggle full-screen playback.

  • All shortcuts (play/pause, fast forward, arrows) still work in full screen.
    ​

6) Multitask & Reset

  • You can browse drives while an asset plays in the background.

  • If the player has issues, click the Refresh button (top right of the player) to reset.
    ​
